The cottage is situated 2 km from the Mannum main street where you can enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the hotels, cafes or the Community Club or have a stroll down the main street; there are plenty of shops to visit.
The river cruises run daily or cross the ferry and take a drive to Kia Marina and have a look around at all the houseboats.
